Macedonian Kifle Croissantrecipe

Main Description.

I have made this recipe a few times and I have posted the recipe but I decided this time to make it again for anybody who didn’t see my last video.

Beat three eggs ,with 3 tablespoons of sugar, till it gets nice and thick like a cake better,

boil the milk and slowly mix and add to the eggs,

add oil ,orange juice ,salt,

unsalted butter,

add the Activated yeast,

and slowly add the flour

I used a mixer you can do it by hand also ,knead it very well,

Cover it with plastic and let it rise to double the size.

On a warm place.

Do not knead it again

Take pieces and make balls ,I made mine 40 g you can do yours how big you wanna it,

Make the Kifli and let them rise

Brush it with egg and sesame seeds on top

Bake it at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes

Or till golden ! When you take them out of the oven, brush them with unsalted butter when they’re still hot

You can fill this Kifli with , feta cheese and egg how I did it,

you can also fill it with jam or Nutella, you can leave them plain also, Instead of sesame seeds you can put salt on it or everything bagel seasoning

These are my specialty croissants which I make them this way,

and they are soft and delicious

Ingredients

  • For The Dough You Need

    3 eggs

    3 tbsp sugar

    100 ml oil

    150 ml orange juice

    4 tbsp unsalted butter

    1 tbsp salt

    1/2 liter milk

    1/2 kg to 1.200 flour Or is needed to be a soft dough

  • Activate The Yeast

    4 tsp dry yeast

    1 tbs sugar

    1 tbs flour

    Warm milk

    Let is rise in a warm place

  • Filling

    Feta cheese

    1 egg

  • Brushing

    Eggs

    Sesame seeds
