I started this blog couple of years ago when the pandemic started. I wanted to do it for all the people and especially my kids and my grandkids to taste the old Macedonian traditional recipes, I love cooking and do watch my videos for more recipes.

Put it in a big bowl , And combine the yeast with everything else in it for the dough,
except the butter and the lard.

Start meeting with your hands for a long time like 30 min , and put it in the greased bowl ,cover it with plastic and leave it in a warm place for more than an hour make sure to double or triple the size.

When it rises I knead it again ,and start adding the lard in the butter mixture keep kneading for a long time ,till the dough comes out nice and elastic !

Start making your Kozinjak Start braiding it however you want it.

Lead them rise Brush it or the egg yolk
Add walnuts or pecans ,almonds and sugar

Preheat your oven on 350° and bake them for 45 minutes ,depends on your stove , cover it after if they burned on the top.
